A Home for Every-body
Watch our recent talk A Home for Every-Body.
Good design is good for all. How does design impact people’s independence and ability to participate in our community? How do we build inclusive teams?
We recently brought research and local knowledge together in a Living Lab Talk: A Home for Every-body. UTS researcher Phillippa Carnemolla was joined by Northern Rivers locals Andy and Cath Graeme-Cook, and Zac Misfud, to discuss inclusive design and community-led research.
Phillippa Carnemolla, an inclusive design expert from UTS, presented her research into the design and evaluation of inclusive environments, products and information. Andy and Cath Graeme-Cook and Zac Misfud shared their lived experience designing inclusive environments and the joys and challenges of living independently. The panel discussion was followed by a Q&A.
