Jane Wolff

Associate Professor, Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design, University of Toronto.

Adaptation Research Network

Jane is a landscape designer, artist and education who brings landscapes to life through her unique blend of drawing, writing, and public conversation. She unravels the complex stories and relationships we have with our everyday landscapes, to draw attention to the profound and often adverse effects humans have on climate, biodiversity, and natural resources.

Her work aims to bridge the gap between academia and everyday language, to allow broad conversations about the future of our valued and intricate cultural landscapes.

Honoured with the 2022 Margolese National Design for Living Award, Jane is also a distinguished professor at the University of Toronto’s John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design.
